DAWGS TAKE DOWN NOVA

Every moment of that game last night was amazing! I witnessed my school take down the number one team in the nation and got to storm the court with my fellow students.  This game was back and forth all night especially in the second half.

Neither team shot the ball well from downtown, that’s why it was such a low scoring game.  The first half shooting was very poor, the score was 31-27 Nova at the break.  The Bulldogs came out of the locker room ready to fight, they tied things up pretty early and then battled with Villanova until they pulled away in the last minute.

Kethan Savage played his best game in a Butler uniform last night, putting up 13 points.  He especially played well in the second half where he converted an And-one layup that sparked the crowd (you can see me going crazy at the end of the video) and gave the Dawgs momentum to pull off the upset in the final few minutes.  Andrew Chrabascz also put up 13 points, shooting 5-7 from the field and pulling down 7 boards.

I don’t think that I will ever experience another game like that.  It had to be one of the best sporting events that I have ever attended in my lifetime.  We may have gotten fined for storming the court, but it was totally worth it. Go Dawgs!
