Spoiler alert: he doesn’t look like him:
Foot in the door, that’s all a guy’s looking for. I respect the fact this guy’s honest about himself, and knows that his own looks might not get him in the door. At the end of the day, he got a conversation with this young lady. Say what you will about being confident in your own looks, but what I think is even more important is being honest to yourself. If you can look in the mirror and say “hey, I’m not the best looking guy in the world, but let me get a foot in the door and my personality will take me from there”, I’ve got the utmost respect for you. We’re not all 10s, that’s just a fact.
Absolute funniest line from the conversation wasn’t the guy saying he “looks like Devin Booker”, because I mean he obviously doesn’t. Following it up with “he’s my favorite 2 guard in the league” had me in stitches. Kind of message the guy wishes he could take back right away, because it’s outrageous that you’d use that as any part of your reasoning for catfishing as Devin Booker.
Last small thing, make sure you open up those pictures from the tweet. Big Twitter pet peeve of mine is people using screenshots from when they’re on FaceTime or on the phone. I hate seeing that little bar at the top, FOH with that.
