How does a coach who’s on his way to a 5th straight losing season with a team get an extension? A coach with a 42% winning percentage? Well it could be the oldest tactic in the book, where you start a rookie quarterback halfway through the season, then claim you’re “in the process of developing him”, so that ownership won’t change coaches, affecting that development. But that can’t possibly be it, because everyone in the league’s too savvy to fall for that one.
So then what is it? What’s the ONE reason that Jeff Fisher will get at least 2 more years in LA?
Think that qualifies as nepotism.
