Why Does the NFL Suck at Rushing All of a Sudden?

Touched on it plenty on the podcast with Millz, let’s dive into it more here.

The NFL’s got an issue with rushing. Big time. Remember when you had Priest Holmes, LT, and Shaun Alexander, and they were rushing for 20+ touchdowns each year? And now we’ve got Devonta Freeman leading the league last season with like 11…bruh…

Look at this weekend. Outside of a handful of guys, it was a PITIFUL weekend of running. TJ Yeldon, AP, and Devonta Freeman were all under 2 yards per carry. Demarco Murray, Todd Gurley, and Arian Foster weren’t much better at around 3 yards per carry.

It’s just bad runners. Don’t blame the lines, or the good defenses, or a lack of touches. Just poor running. Which I wouldn’t be worried about if there weren’t some fantasy money on this season. Get it together (talking to you Matt Jones).
