Today it seems like there are a million different ways to lose weight. Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman did it in a bit of a peculiar way.
For those who knew what Perriman looked like, he showed us on Twitter his new look for the 2016 season. Known for his long dreadlocks that would stick out of his helmet down to his shoulders, the wideout decided to change up his hairdo.
Dreadlocks no more, Perriman cut the dreads deciding to make himself a bit more aerodynamic. According to ESPN Perriman said, “I feel much lighter once I cut it, I weighed myself, and I lost three or four pounds. It was crazy.”
Perriman missed all of the 2015 season with a hamstring injury and hasn’t had much better luck as he partially tore his ACL in June. Perriman is expected to be ready to go at some point this season but it hasn’t been determined when he will officially be ready. Once he is ready to play, the already speedy Perriman will be even faster with his new haircut.
